Mrs. Gilbert received a response from Carl Albert regarding the reconsideration of Mr. John Spaan for an Executive Officer position in the Oklahoma City office. Dr. Rabeau had changed his decision and a vacancy announcement would be issued for interested individuals to apply. Mrs. Gilbert expressed excitement and relief that Mr. Ellis from Alaska would not be coming to Oklahoma, making it easier for Mr. Spaan to be chosen for the position. She also mentioned that others would be writing to express their support for Mr. Spaan.
