Scope and Contents

Mrs. Cora Smith wrote a letter to Carl Albert regarding the settlement of coal lands for the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations. Albert responded that payments will be made to the heirs of deceased members, with proof of heirship notices being mailed out for completion. Living enrolled members will be paid first, with heirship notices to follow. Albert offered to answer any other questions and provide assistance if needed.
