Scope and Contents

Mrs. Rutherford wrote to Carl Albert asking about the distribution of funds for Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations' coal and asphalt lands. Carl Albert responded, explaining that heirs of deceased members will receive their share after proof of heirship is established. He also mentioned that living enrolled members will be paid first and that regulations are being written up which will take about sixty days. Mrs. Rutherford was advised to contact the Superintendent for further information.
