Scope and Contents

Mr. and Mrs. Cronwell wrote to Carl Albert, a member of the House of Representatives, asking for information about the payment they are entitled to from the sale of coal and asphalt lands. Carl Albert responded, explaining that the total contract amount is $8,500,000 and the payment will be distributed on a per capita basis by the Five Civilized Tribes Agency in Muskogee. He offered to provide any further assistance needed.
