Mr. Criner wrote to Mr. Albert asking about payment to members of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations for the sale of their coal lands. Mr. Albert replied that payments will be made on a per capita basis, with living enrolled members being paid first. Deceased members' shares will be distributed to their heirs after proof of heirship is provided. Mr. Criner expressed his gratitude for Mr. Albert's efforts and asked if the payment could be made in a lump sum so he could buy a farm in Oklahoma.
