Mrs. Lutie M. Walcott inquired about whether heirs of deceased members of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations will be paid. Carl Albert, M.C., informed her that payment will be made to the heirs after proof of heirship is provided and verified. He also mentioned that living enrolled members will receive payment first, with heirship notices to follow. The Indian Office is finalizing regulations for payment distribution.
