Scope and Contents

Mrs. Lola Miller wrote a letter to Carl Albert inquiring about payment to the Chickasaw and Choctaw Indians for the sale of their coal lands to the government. Carl Albert responded stating that proof of heirship notices will be sent out after the living enrolled members have been paid, which is expected to happen within the next sixty days. He advised Mrs. Miller to write to the Superintendent if she does not receive the necessary forms. Mrs. Miller thanked Carl Albert for the information and requested three forms for proof of heirship.
