Scope and Contents
Mrs. Goldie L. Lowery Reed inquired about payments to be made to members of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Tribes for coal lands sold to the government. She was informed that payments would be made within the next sixty days and was advised to inform the Superintendent of her current address and the whereabouts of other family members. The Superintendent will also send out proof of heirship notices after payments are made. Mrs. Reed requested a "Proof of heirship" form for her deceased father. She provided the necessary information and expressed her trust in the correct handling of the matter.
