Scope and Contents
The letter discusses changes in the separation criteria for officers in the Medical Department of the War Department as of July 1, 1946. Army Medical Corps officers will be eligible for discharge after two years of service, dental officers after 30 months, and officers of the Veterinary, Sanitary, and Medical Administrative Corps after 36 months.
