The Mayor's Committee on Race Relations in Chicago is thanking Representative Helen Gahagan Douglas for her report on the contribution of Negro soldiers in the war effort. They request several more copies of the report for distribution. A chaplain at Fort Benning, Georgia also praises the report and requests a copy of the Congressional Record that includes it for future reference.
