Scope and Contents

The text is a series of letters between Miss Cornelia M. Anderson and Helen Gahagan Douglas regarding the request for copies of "The "Negro" Soldier" and a report on the record of "Negro" soldiers during the war. Miss Anderson requests two copies of the report and later asks for two hundred copies to be sent immediately. Helen Gahagan Douglas apologizes for the delay in sending the copies and states that there is no charge for them.
