Mr. Alex Higdon, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Oklahoma City Public Schools, wrote a letter to Senator Mike Monroney expressing support for the sonic boom studies being conducted in Oklahoma City. He believes that the benefits will outweigh any potential damage and considers the experiment to be important for the area. Senator Monroney responded, thanking Mr. Higdon for his support and recognizing the progress Oklahoma has made in the aviation field.
