Scope and Contents
Mrs. Foster has expressed concerns about the sonic boom studies being conducted in Oklahoma City to the Federal Aviation Agency. The Agency promised to address complaints and pay damage claims. Civic leaders in Oklahoma City support the testing as it may benefit the development of aviation industries in Central Oklahoma. The FAA has issued a pamphlet about the program in response to public reaction. Mrs. Foster has asked Senator Mike Monroney to take action to stop the sonic boom tests in the area.
