Mrs. J. V. McClintic and her two daughters, Mary and Olive, are actively involved in aiding U.S. soldiers by providing entertainment for nearby camps in Maryland and Virginia. Mary is gaining popularity as a performer, while Olive was the first light entertainer. Mrs. McClintic is a member of the Washington Red Cross and is a director of the Franco-American organization, "Circle Francaise de Washington." She also received a kiss from General Joffre for her dedication to Red Cross work.
