Scope and Contents

The contract between William H. Murray and John Hoggensmith states that Hoggensmith will rent the farm on Yashau Creek for the year 1942. Murray may reclaim the premises if needed, with Hoggensmith agreeing to vacate for a fee. Hoggensmith will pay $7.50 per month and is responsible for planting oats, grazing a limited number of livestock, maintaining fences, and cultivating only certain areas. Hoggensmith will keep tools in the tool house and retain all hay and fruit grown on the premises. The contract was signed on October 29, 1941.
