Mrs. Evelyn McClure wrote to Hon. Carl Albert inquiring about the sale of the Choctaw and Chickasaw lands. Carl Albert responded, stating that the sale has not been voted upon yet and will be submitted to the Indians in the near future. He assured Mrs. McClure that she will be informed of the outcome and offered his assistance if needed.
