Scope and Contents
Miss Marie L. Wadley, the Executive Secretary of Tribal Programs at the Bureau of Indian Affairs, wrote to Congressman Page Belcher expressing the support of the Inter-Tribal Council of the Five Civilized Tribes for various proposed legislations. Belcher appreciated the recommendations and welcomed any other comments or suggestions. The Council supported House Con. Res. 92, H. R. 186, H. R. 230, H. R. 3665, and H. R. 2722, and urged their passage. Belcher thanked Wadley for the recommendations and promised to consider them.
