Miss Marie L. Wadley, Executive Secretary of Tribal Programs at the Bureau of Indian Affairs, sent a letter to Hon. Page Belcher expressing the Inter-Tribal Council's support for H.R. 6095, a bill to amend the Act related to employment for certain adult Indians. Page Belcher, a Member of Congress, acknowledged receiving the letter and stated that he would remember the Council's interest and suggestions should the legislation come to the Floor of the House.
