Scope and Contents
The Five Civilized Tribes Foundation in Muskogee submitted a grant application for the Adult Education Program under Public Law 92-318 (Indian program) to the Office of Education. They were informed that a decision on funding will be made by June 1, and not all applicants will be funded due to lack of funds. The Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Office of Education have been in communication regarding the proposal and are keeping the Foundation updated on the status of their application. The Foundation expressed gratitude for the support and assistance they have received.
