Scope and Contents

Mr. Roy W. Cox inquired about the Pawnee Indian claim and was advised by Page Belcher to contact the attorneys for the Tribe in Tulsa for further information. The Bureau of Indian Affairs also informed Belcher that there is no judgment in favor of the Pawnee Indians yet and suggested Cox contact the Tribe's attorneys for more information. Cox had initially reached out to Belcher for information on when the Pawnees would receive money that had been appropriated to them.
