This collection contains materials obtained and created by Sullivan and his staff during the time he represented Oklahoma in the U.S. Congress.

Of particular note, are the electronic records from the Sullivan office. Housed on a server deemed OK1, the files give a comprehensive view of the office's operations during the decade he spent in office.

Conditions Governing Access

All paper records from the Sullivan office are closed until processed. However, some parts of the Digital Materials series are currently open to the public. Please contact an archivist for further information.

38 Boxes (Containers mainly include bankers boxes.)

1 Terabytes (The hard drive has been imaged and forensic metadata about its contents has been collected.)

Biographical History

John Sullivan served Oklahoma’s 1st District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2002 until 2013. He served on the Committee on Energy and Commerce. During his time in Congress, he also occupied positions in the House leadership as Assistant Minority Whip.
