Scope and Contents Contains correspondence from the Department of Education regarding applications for Federal assistance (under Title 1 of P.L. 81-874) by school districts in Synar's district. These materials were originally stored in one folder with copies of grants from other agencies. An archivist separated and arranged the materials into multiple folders for easier access. Synar's office retained copies of these documents to generate press releases.
