Scope and Contents Scope and Contents The T Bar 12 series contains materials related to the ouster of Oklahoma Speaker of the House Jim Barker in 1989. The majority of the series consists of newspaper clippings and copies of newspaper articles related to politics in Oklahoma and Barker throughout the 1980s. There are also copies of election results, correspondence related to a potential book, a conference paper, scholarly articles regarding the Oklahoma legislature, and Peters’ interview notes.
