Scope and Contents A typewritten speech by Paul V. Beck explaining his reasons for running for the US Senate, apparently for 1944, on a platform of separating economics from political control and a mediated peace of the war. Though he notes he hails from Missouri, he ran as an Independent for the open Oklahoma seat in 1944 (losing with just 0.16% of the total vote).
