Keeler, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, is writing to Honorable Carl Albert to request his influence in stopping the closure of the Indian Hospital at Claremore, Oklahoma by the A.U.S. Public Health Service. Keeler believes that this closure will leave many Indians without medical treatment and is a false economy. Keeler expresses his appreciation for any assistance that Albert can provide.
