Scope and Contents This series of 10.5 cubic feet has predominantly correspondence between Cartwright and his constituents as well as between the congressman and his wife, children, and other relatives. The correspondence is divided between "general" and "personal" and is arranged alphabetically. The series also has other materials from Cartwright's personal life, including military papers, education items, and things about his children.
