Huge horn antenna, weighing 380 tons, for tests of Telstar. The horn is used to carry out experiments in broad band communications by way of Telstar. The horn transmits signals up to and receives signals from the satellite, a "space radio tower." An engineer standing on structure in lower center is dwarfed by the 177 foot long antenna.
