This collection includes the company records including album files, royalties records, financial records, and photographs from 1966-1982. The album files include correspondence with retailers and theatre organists, press photographs, copyright records, purchase orders, profit and loss statements, packing slips, and original album review manuscripts written by Stu Green of the American Theatre Organ Society. Notable theatre organists maintained by Doric Records are Sidney Torch, Tiny James, Jesse Crawford, Bill Langford, Reginald Foort, and Geoge Wright.

Administrative History:

The Doric Records Company, which later changed its name to Doric Recording Company, was incorporated in April 1973 in Monterey, California. The company often worked with theatre organists, and Stu Green of the American Theatre Organ Society wrote many of Doric label review manuscripts. Important employees of the Doric Records Company include General Manager Dick Penberthy and President Frank Killinger.
