David Ashby Collection

Scope and Contents The collection includes 35mm slides of the WurliTzer factory from the personal collection of David Ashby, who was an employee at the WurliTzer factory. There are also photographs of various organ consoles, exterior and interior shots of theatres and organ factories across the United States, and of actress Gloria Swanson posing amidst the rubble of the demolished Fox Theatre in New York City.
