Scope and Contents The John N. "Happy" Camp Collection consists of 102 cubic feet of material and covers the period 1967-1974. The collection is arranged into several series; internal arrangement is either chronological or alphabetical by topic. While Camp's papers are particularly strong in energy, mining, and Native American subjects, in contrast there are only a few cubic feet of routine materials on science and astronautics. Scope and Contents The Monroney Collection is 98 linear feet in addition to audio-visual and oversize materials. Although Mike Monroney was in Congress from 1938 to 1968, his collection has very little material from many of his years of service. In 1973, the National Archives destroyed over 90 percent of his early papers. The bulk of the surviving collection is from the years 1962-1968. For the most part, the series divisions demonstrate what topics the collection covers.

Scope and Contents The greater part of the Synar collection, some 97,000 items, consists of legislative and research materials used by the Synar office during his years as a Congressman from Oklahoma. These materials range in date from 1979 to 1994 and include, but are not limited to, internal memos, drafts of bills, hearing materials, and background research.
