 Item — Box: 5, Folder: 25
Identifier: CAC_CC_041_1_5_25_0001
Two typewritten drafts of "Laconic Essay on the Forms of Government," that inform his publuished book Essay on Forms of Government: from Theocracy to Foolocracy (1942) one with corrections written in ink. One a letter- sized typescript (17 pp.) the other a legal-sized carbon copy (13 pp., unpaginated). Nearly identical--the very last section of the two on Foolocracies (p. 17 and 13, resepctively) are thematically equivalent, but worded slightly differently.

The letter-sized draft contains the near-exact wording of the published text. The published text also contains additional sections on "Fascism, Nazism and the New Deal" (pp. 15 - 16) not contained in the typescripts.

The latter conform to the published text's pp. 7 - 22 (of 35 pages), the majority of the book listed as "Article I" (of three total).
