A newsprint clippinmg torn from an apparent promotional pamphlet for the Memoirs that contains an addressable post card on one side with William H. Murray's Tishimingo return address in the upper left corner ("From") and a space for addressing and sending to recepients. ("To").
On the back is an excerpt from Vol. 1 p. 7 of the Memoirs, from the Author's Preface. The postcard side bears a postage stamp and post office date stamps as addressed to Arthur H. Geissler. Geissler must have included this in his order of the Memiors, as it contains a follow up note written in red ink: "Best wishes to the Governor. Please, autograph the book. Thanks," above his name.
