A typed single-page letter from State Representative Hiram Impson to William H. Murray enclosing a check for $15 to place an order of the latter's Memoirs. Impson expresses his hope Murray will get his 135 orders for publication, but equally notes that for the recent special session (April 10 - 21) that he voted against using public funds for this purpose over the precedent it would set. But he is happy to support Murray's work as a private citizen.
