Karr, Maude, 2/13/1945

 Item — Box: 5, Folder: 31
Identifier: CAC_CC_041_1_5_31_0038
A typed single-page letter from Maude Karr to William H. Murray enclosing a check for $15 for set of "Governor Murray's History" (aka: the Memoirs). Further comments, negatively, on the "Red move" the country has taken with the New Deal (which she associates with slavery). The South must resist it and a Constitutional Amendment ought to be passed preventing any President from sending troops to fight for England, so to enlarge its Empire.
