Transcript – Full
Mr. Nixon, what is the truth? Can we keep the communists from taking over in Africa? Well, I believe we can if we keep on working through the United Nations. President Eisenhower has shown us the way. His program for helping the new nations of Africa through the UN won the applause and support of the whole free world. Right here in New York, you saw Mr. Khrushchev try to destroy the UN, but he failed. American prestige and influence helped win the day for freedom. Don't believe the politicians who say that America is weak and her prestige is low. We are strong. We're growing stronger. And we pledge our strength and devotion to help not just the new nations, but all nations to live in peace and in freedom. Vote for Nixon and Lodge November 8th. They understand what peace demands.
