The Julian P. Kanter Political Commercial Collection (PCC) is currently stored in the archives of the Carl Albert Congressional Research and Studies Center’s Congressional and Political Collections. The Carl Albert Center, founded in 1979, is one of the leading congressional archives in the country with over 60 member collections. The PCC is the largest collection of political commercials in the world and the only comprehensive collection that covers all levels of political campaigning
from Presidential elections to ballot initiatives. Containing approximately 120,000 film, audio, and videotape recordings of political commercials aired between 1912 and the present, the Collection is an exceptional and unique historical resource.
