TRANSCRIPTION: Good evening. I am Barry Goldwater. 24 years ago tonight. I was running for president and hoping New Hampshire would help me you did. Now. I'm asking you to come through again for a fellow named George Bush. I've known him 25 years. He's the best qualified candidate in my lifetime other than me George and he's going to be a great president. I believe in George Bush. He's the man to continue the conservative Revolution. We started 24 years ago. Harry is my friend. George Bush Barry. Thank you sir. Thank you Senator. Barry Goldwater. We're in the final hours in the race is close tomorrow and a Hampshire makes a historic decision. This election is really a question. Who can you most trust to continue the Reagan Revolution? Who can you rely on to build on what we've Done. Our Revolution was built on two big pillars. The first was a strong and expanding economy in the second. A new and enduring peace brought about by a new Strength. We achieved the first through tax cuts the results more jobs created than ever before. More new businesses personal income reaching a new high interest down inflation down employment up. But our Triumph is incomplete. We've got a big deficit to deal with how the candidates would deal with. It tells you a lot about their real feelings toward our Revolution. I'd solve the deficit by remembering that we can't go back to the old fashioned way of raising taxes and spending and raising taxes. Again we've got to go forward. We have to make strategic Cuts in the budget and we have to use the veto when necessary. We must also resist Temptation to take big chunks out of defense for it's our newly muscular defense that got the Russians to agree to the INF treaty. My closest opponent. Senator Dole says he believes in our Revolution but he said over and over again that he'd raise taxes by backing an oil import fee
