TRANSCRIPTION: If we youngster sees people in positions of authority playing by a different set of rules and if that makes him lose faith in the system and he's going to leave the system and we're going to lose a life. And often we lose those lives to drugs. Right. Now what are we doing? To help our children. Find a future without drugs? What does a parent say to his children? When our own government is doing business with a drug pirate in Panama? You know since 1984 drug use in the public schools in my state has gone down. Because we got our children involved with their teachers and their parents and with law enforcement officers. Why can't that happened in every community in America? Why can't we make that effort? Why can't we make drug-free schools? Our goal for the 1990s? We love our children and grandchildren in this country. And we can't settle for less than that.
