Summary: Mary Fallin is an American politician who was born and raised in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. She is a member of the Republican Party and served as the 27th Governor of Oklahoma from 2011 to 2019. Fallin was first elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 1990 and served two terms before being elected to the Oklahoma Senate in 1994. She was elected Lieutenant Governor of Oklahoma in 2006 and served in that role until her election as Governor in 2010.
