Concerns About Mr. Reagans Attitude towards Central America and Mexico

The author is writing to express concern about President Reagans upcoming meeting with the Mexican President. They believe that the US government is handling the communist insurgency in Central America correctly, but they are skeptical about Mexico's freedom of expression and their willingness to cooperate. They suggest that if Mexico gets tough with the US about intervening in Central America, the US should get tough with Mexico regarding illegal immigration. The author also criticizes the Mexican government for their arrogance and lack of cooperation in the past.
