The letter dated May 15, 1953, addressed to Honorable Carl Albert discusses the Osage Tribe's response to a letter from the Assistant Secretary of the Interior regarding key issues in Indian affairs. The Osage Tribal Council has unanimously adopted a resolution expressing their satisfaction with the current Area and Agency organization and requesting no changes be made. They ask for support from Congress Carl Albert to ensure the continuation of Federal trusteeship over Osage affairs.
