Mr. Crager wrote to Representative James R. Jones expressing his interest in statements made by the President and his economic advisors regarding inflation and government spending. Representative Jones responded by providing information from the President's Council of Economic Advisors, addressing part of Mr. Crager's inquiry. Mr. Crager then requested further information on statements made by the President's economic advisors.
