Mrs. Marie Aldrich wrote to Congressman James R. Jones urging him to support wage and price controls due to her rent being raised drastically. Congressman Jones sympathizes with her situation but believes that responsible taxing and spending policies by the federal government would be a better solution to combat inflation. He mentions his support for tax reduction and a balanced federal budget, and offers assistance to Mrs. Aldrich if needed.
