Tulsa Democratic Congressman James R. Jones amended his campaign financing reports to show he received and spent more money in his 1972 congressional campaign than previously reported. He claimed the discrepancies were due to bookkeeping errors and not intentional. Jones received a "clean bill of health" from the clerk of the House, who oversees campaign financing violations.
