Response to Petition for Removal of Ambassador Andrew Young: Letter from Congressman James R. Jones, 1977-09-03
The letter is a response to a petition sent by Mr. Pendergrass urging the removal of Andrew Young as Ambassador to the United Nations. The congressman explains that the only way Ambassador Young could be removed is through impeachment, and since no impeachable offense has been charged against him, there is no basis for removal.
