Miss Naomi Parrish wrote a letter to Congressman James R. Jones expressing her concern about teachers receiving unemployment compensation during the summer months. Congressman Jones responded, agreeing that this interpretation of the law was a mistake and that Congress was working on legislation to correct it. He assured Miss Parrish that the issue would be resolved soon.
