Congressman's Response to Concerns over Veteran Education Program Deadline, 1976-10-05 - 1976-10-12

Mr. Hollis Scott expressed concern about the 10-year deadline for Veteran Education Program benefits. Although an effort was made in Congress to extend the deadline, it was not successful. The benefits were extended from 36 to 45 months instead. The issue will be considered in the next Congress, with the sender pledging continued support for extending the deadline.
