Congressional Assistance in Expedited Social Security Claim Processing: A Correspondence Between Congressman James R. Jones and General Agent James L. Varner, 1976-09-28

Congressman Jim Jones received a letter from James L. Varner, a General Agent at The Varner Agency, thanking him for his assistance in getting a Social Security claim processed for one of Varner's employees. The claim had been pending for nearly a year, but after Varner contacted Jones's office for help, the claim was processed within a week. Varner expressed gratitude for Jones's efficient and concerned staff and promised to encourage others to support him.
