James R. Jones thanks Mr. Owen Fonkalsrud for attending a meeting on drug abuse in the military. Jones is working on developing a program to address the issue and has reached some conclusions, such as recommending a maximum overseas tour of duty of 18 months for military personnel unaccompanied by family. Jones offers his assistance to Mr. Fonkalsrud in the future.
