Letter of Thanks and Update on Drug Abuse in the Military, 1974-04-01

James R. Jones, a Member of Congress, thanks Ms. Pat Atkinson for attending a meeting on drug abuse in the military. He discusses his efforts to address the issue, including studying information gathered from a trip to Europe and holding hearings in Germany. Jones plans to recommend a maximum overseas tour of duty for military personnel to help reduce the drug problem in Europe. He offers his assistance to Ms. Atkinson and expresses best wishes.
